REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

We are pleased to announce that the system for registration was opened on 3, Jan. 2023! Please start your registration procedure through the button below, or directly access the following URL: https://amarys-jtb.jp/spt2023/.

1. The registration deadline through this website will be closed May 31, 2023. After May 31, those who wish to register might send an e-mail to: spt2023@gmt.jtb.jp [Business hours: 10:00-17:00 Japan Standard Time (JST)]

   • Inquiries received outside business hours shown above will be handled the next day or later.

   • The final deadline is 17:00 [JST] on June 5.*The final deadline was moved forward from June 9 to June 5. Before this change, we had previously indicated that we would accept cash on site, but we finally concluded we wouldn’t do that due to various reasons (however, please contact us if you have particular circumstances to concern).* However, please note that the registration fee will not be prorated and therefore will not be reduced even if you register in the middle of the session of SPT 2023. 

   • Panelists who present online also have to register as same as who present in person.

   • Please remember that the registration procedure after May 31 and the other questions have different points of contact. 

2. If you are undecided at the time of registration, please select "Not Planning to Attend" under the "Banquette" section. If you subsequently decide to attend, please change it to "Planning to Attend" on the Registration page.

Registration Fee

When you make a presentation at SPT 2023 Tokyo, you have to register to attend this conference in advance, and payment for the registration fee must be required. In principle, SPT2023 will be conducted in person. Online sessions will be set up only in a very limited way. We cannot accommodate individual circumstances, such as time difference issues, so please consider carefully your participation in online sessions.

Registration fee is subject to change.

• JSSTS: the Japanese Society for Science and Technology Studies (科学技術社会論学会)

• Reduced Rate: Citizen and resident in a middle or lower-income country as identified by the United Nations (UN Human Development Report)

• Registration fee for non-members and JSSTmembers includes a 1-year membership of SPT

• For the student participants from outside of Japan, a travel subsidy is prepared. Please contact us: info@spt2023.org (Available in English and Japanese)
